A proper exterior detail involves far more than washing the paintwork.

Our process begins with a deep clean of the wheels, tyres and arches, often taking up to 30 minutes alone depending on the condition of the vehicle. Having a dedicated bucket for the Wheels they are treated with iron fallout remover to dissolve brake dust and tar remover to eliminate road contamination, while tyres are fully stripped of old dressings before being restored with a professional rubber dressing that nourishes the rubber and provides long-lasting UV protection.

The vehicle then undergoes a careful pre-clean stage, where lower panels, badges, fuel caps, window seals, grilles, hinges and other tight areas are cleaned using specialist chemicals and detailing brushes to remove built-up grime often missed by standard washes.

A thick layer of snow foam pre-wash is applied to safely lift dirt from the surface before the paintwork is touched. This significantly reduces the risk of scratching during the wash process.

The vehicle is then hand washed using the two-bucket safe wash method, with separate mitts used for upper and lower sections of the vehicle to prevent contamination being transferred onto the paintwork.

Once clean, the vehicle undergoes a full chemical decontamination process. Iron fallout remover dissolves embedded metal contamination from the paintwork, while tar and adhesive removers eliminate stubborn road residue that normal washing cannot remove.

Exterior glass is polished using a specialist glass compound to remove contamination and improve clarity.

The vehicle is then safely dried using professional drying towels, air blowers and lubrication to prevent towel marring.

Finally, a 6–12 month ceramic sealant is applied to the paintwork, glass, trim and wheels to enhance gloss and provide long-lasting protection from dirt, water and UV damage.
